Currently the guild has over 600 members who represent every province in canada as well as members in bermuda japan scotland and the united states. The piedmont rug hookers chapter of atha was formed in piedmont north carolina area as a non profit guild devoted to the education and promotion of the fiber art of traditional rug hooking.
